Concussion Training To help ensure the health and safty of young athletes, the Zachary Lystedt law was passed. Coaches, Parents and Athletes are required to understand the seriousness of head injury in sports and follow the guidelines set fourth in the law.
To train coaches the CDC developed the Heads Up: Concussionin Youth Sports initiative to offer information about concussions to coaches, parents, and athletes involved in youth sports. The Heads Up initiative provides important information on preventing, recognizing, and responding to a concussion.

- Upon completion you will receive a certificate. Please turn in your certificate to the Director prior to your first practice.
- From the online training you received you will then talk to your athletes.
